Girls Camp Part 2

I had such a great time at Girls Camp. What good girls our ward has. Before we went we all spray painted t-shirts to wear. So much easier, and cleaner than Tie-dying! I forgot my camera so I only have a pic from my phone.

I made some signs to hang on the cabin doors. This was the Leaders cabin

The girls cabin. I had some of that sticky mirror stuff you use to replace your car mirrors (they sell it at walmart for a couple bucks) So I put it on the princess's face so they could see themselves.

The theme of camp was "Sole Sisters" so each ward was a different shoe. We were a Hiking boot. Each ward also had a value we were Integrity and the color purple. One of our leaders made an acronym for HIKER (Highest Integrity Kindles Eternal Rewards).

Lesson #27 lm2 strengthening our testimony through Obedience

Oops I forgot to post last weeks lesson.
I attached this quote to a little bag of Peach O's. The O was to remind them to be Obedient!

Girls Camp Part 1

We will be making some of these cute purple flower bows. They are easy: just cut different sized circles and burn the edges with a candle.

And I made a ton of these homemade oreos to take up.

2 pkg Devils Food Cake mix

3 cubes of butter (yup pretty healthy)
4 eggs

roll into 1'' balls and bake @ 350 for 7-10 minutes. Sandwich cream cheese frosting between 2 cookies.

I made these cute necklaces for each of the girls. Now I just need to figure out how to tie them in to my devotional (:

Lesson #26 lm2 the Sacrament

I was doing a lot of things getting ready for camp this week. So I didn't come up with anything too creative for my lesson. I used the slogan "Take it Personally" from a Mormonad (see here) and just taped it around a water bottle. On Saturday night I went and bought 2 loaves of bread from Macaroni Grill to snack on during the lesson. It is only $1.00 and it comes with the Oil & Vinegar. YUMMY!!
I also used a story I found on sugardoodle HERE

Christmas Box Bridals

I thought L was a little crazy when she asked ME to take her bridals. They are pretty important pictures and I didn't know if I could pull it off. I think we got some good ones. Thanks for trusting me!
